YOUNG ADULT
The most vital component of the UBC Young Adult Ministry is the continual
spiritual development of its members. Regular attendance at Bible study is
essential not only to increase spiritual development, but also to ensure the
success and effectiveness of the ministry. The main objective of the Young Adult
Bible Study is to help those who attend to "move from religion to relationship
with God," so that they can become more effective witnesses to others and uphold
the integrity of the gospel. The process to achieve this objective includes
being informed of God's Word, encouraged to put into practice what it says, and
equipped to carry out His work.
God strongly desires to have continual fellowship and relationships with us.
This is evident in His giving up His only Son (Jesus) to die
for our sins, so as to re-establish His relationship with us. Our desire should
therefore be to draw nearer to God as He draws nearer to us. To please Him by
seeking Him diligently.
God has called us to be of great service to our family, our church, and our
community. Through continual prayer and diligent study of His word we can become
effective witnesses to others, so they may come to have a relationship with Him.

YOUTH MINISTRY
The Union Baptist Church Youth Council is lead by
the Holy Spirit to provide a safe, supportive and encouraging Christian
environment to develop a holistic Christian witness, where all youth are
encouraged to grow in their faith while preparing to be God's leaders.
Our spiritual base activities consist of an evening at the Fountain of Life
Center to witness a performance of the Birth of Christ and His Resurrection.
The Outreach Service helps other youth know our love for the community through
Fun Night, and a Christmas Social.
The Adults of this program are spirit-filled members of the church who care
about the direction of our youth. Volunteers are always needed.
