SENIOR USHER MINISTRY

The Senior Usher Ministry was organized in 1918 at the Old Union Baptist Church on Belvedere Street. Our Mission is to serve God, who is first in our lives, and our Pastor, to make services a success by delivering courteous and professional service.

We greet the congregation with a warm welcome and assist them in getting comfortable seating in a timely manner. We maintain order in and around the Church at all times during services.

The Ushers play an important role in the Church programs. Their conduct during service is a reflection of the Church. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the Church that the Ushers conduct is pleasant, kind, courteous, and Christian-like at all times.

The Ushers are not only the doorkeepers, but with the help of God we are ready and willing to give of our time, money, and service with a smile.

                             SIGHT & SOUND MINISTRY

The Union Baptist Church Audio Ministry provides a powerful tool in Christian Education and spiritual uplifting through audio cassette, VHS, audio CD, DVD formats, as well as our weekly radio broadcast Ministries. We are committed to reach all people and nations through our ministry.

Recordings of each Sunday's services are available in the UBC Sight & Sound room immediately after the worship service. By listening to a sermon more than once, you increase your ability to retain the message, thereby helping to strengthen and enhance your Christian Education and uplift your spirit beyond the Sunday morning worship experience alone. We have purchased high quality equipment and a state of the art stereo duplicator to reproduce the best quality sound possible. The entire Sunday morning service, including singing, is recorded. We invite you to extend your worship experience through our Sight & Sound ministry.

The radio broadcast Ministry has proven to be a blessing to both
the local and worldwide communities. Because our Pastor delivers exceptionally powerful sermons, we are blessed
beyond measure, and we want to share this blessing with the larger community. We invite you to tune in to our radio broadcast each Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on radio station WIMG 1300 AM. Your friends and family anywhere in the world can also listen to the broadcast via the Internet at www.wimg1300.com
